Melanie has 14 years of experience in paediatric physiotherapy treating a large variety of conditions including cerebral palsy, stroke, spina bifida, genetic conditions, orthopaedic conditions including torticollis, foot position, and gait (walking/running) difficulties, general developmental delay, neurodivergent conditions and many others. She has experience with children ranging in functional levels from children who are fully dependent in mobility to children who are highly functional working on refining running skills, and children ages from preemie to young adults. She also has experience with children who are more medically fragile. With every child and their family, her goal is to help them live their best lives without limits to their dreams.

Melanie has worked in a variety of settings including in-home, in-centre, community based such as playgrounds, school-based, paediatric centre for children who are medically fragile, aquatic therapy, and telehealth.

Melanie graduated with a doctorate of physical therapy (physiotherapy) from the University of Texas Medical Branch. She has focused on paediatric physiotherapy since graduation in 2009, and was a Pediatric Certified Specialist in the United States prior to immigrating to Australia.  Melanie is an AHPRA licenced physiotherapist in Australia who recently re-located to the Central Coast from Sydney where she also worked in paediatric clinics.

Melanie also has the first hand experience of being Mum to four adventure loving boys!
